Meadowsweet has creamy-white flowers clustered close together in irregularly-branched cymes and have a very strong, sweet smell. They flower from early summer to early autumn and are visited by various types of insects. 'Multiplex' has dark green leaves and slender, loose clusters of double creamy-white flowers opening from pink buds on branching stems all through Summer
