Armenian Cranesbill

Geraniums are hardy and mainly perennial and are used in a number of garden situations such as ground cover or rockery plants. Geraniums are easily grown and can transform problem places such as dry shade, hot sunny banks or moist shade. Geranium psilostemon is a species Geranium which is found from Turkey to Caucasus. It is tall clump forming perennial and has deeply divided green leaves which have red tints in the autumn. It produces crimson magenta flowers with a dark, almost black, centre.
