Striped Bloody Cranesbill

Geraniums are hardy and mainly perennial and are used in a number of garden situations such as ground cover or rockery plants. Geraniums are easily grown and can transform problem places such as dry shade, hot sunny banks or moist shade. Geranium sanguineum is a species Geranium which is found native in Europe to Caucasus. It has palmately lobed green leaves and produces vivid magenta pink flowers. Geranium sanguineum var. striatum is a naturally forming variant of the species, and has sugar pink flowers enhanced with red veins and red styles.
