In temperate regions, they are best grown in the in a conservatory or in a very sheltered part of the garden. 'Flora Mason' sports grey-green foliage and a profusion of apricot, yellow and pink blended spider-like flowers. Will grow in a range of soils from clay to sand so long as it is well-drained.

Planting young plants
From Early Spring TO Early Spring
Can be purchased from good nurseries in pots and planted straight into the growing site. Establish plants in the garden in spring in a sheltered, sunny place in free draining acid or neutral soil. Grow pot plants in a soil based compost such as John Innes number 3, adding peat or peat substitute to make up to a quarter of the volume.
