Plantain Lily (Species) White Painted Plantain Lily

Hosta are popular perennials for shady areas. Grown for their architectual qualities and sumptuous foliage topped with lily-like blooms. The flowers appear in mid-summer. Hosta go completely dormant in the autumn, and the dying foliage can be removed any time before mid-spring. Easily divided in either spring or autumn. Hosta fortunei var. albopicta is a species Hosta which has broad, creamy-yellow, heart-shaped leaves with conspicuous veins and narrow green margins.
