Hosta are popular perennials for shady areas. Grown for their architectural qualities and sumptuous foliage topped with lily-like blooms. The flowers appear in mid-summer. Hosta go completely dormant in the autumn, and the dying foliage can be removed any time before mid-spring. Easily divided in either spring or autumn. 'Sun Power' is a large hosta with long wavy yellow leaves which emerge slightly greener, and produces pale lavender flowers.
