Sedum, or Stonecrop, is a large genus of flowering plant which has fleshy, succulent leaves, fleshy stems, and has clusters of small, starry flowers. 'Carl' is clump-forming, with grey-green fleshy, succulent leaves and flattish clusters of small starry bright pink flowers in Summer or Autumn. Hylotelephium Carl syn. Sedum Carl Parentage : 2 indications : 1) H. spectabile x H. telephium ssp. telephium or 2) Found amongst a batch of H. spectabile ‘Meteor’. From Joe Sharman, Monksilver Nursery, Cottenham. (ICN)
