Jovibarba can be annuals, or mat-forming, evergreen or herbaceous perennials. They have small leaves and simple 5-petalled white flowers in Summer. 'Jovibarba Arenaria' forms rosettes of red-brown-tipped leaves, and greenish-white flowers atop 12cm. stems. Common name "Hen and Chicks" derived from the "Baby" plants that form round the edges of the "Mother"
