Golden Rain Tree

A small to medium-sized deciduous tree growing to 7m tall. It produces yellow flowers with four petals. The fruit is green ripening to orange-pink in autumn, containing several dark brown seeds. Several cultivars are available for garden planting, including 'Fastigiata' with a narrow crown, and 'September Gold', flowering in late summer.

Planting

Grow as a specimen tree in well-drained or moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Plant established young tree taking care not to disturb the root ball. Add plenty of well rotted manure to the hole.
