Lamium orvala is a long lived plant which produces spikes of large, purple-pink hooded flowers, similar to the wild dead-nettle. The flowers are divided horizontally by large, heart-shaped mid green leaves. It blooms in late spring to early summer.

From Early Spring TO Early Autumn
Lamium can be planted in most garden soils. The yellow-flowered species are planted in autumn and prefer shade and the white or purple flowered species should be planted in spring in full sun.
