Tea Tree is an evergreen shrub or small tree originating in southeastern Australia and New Zealand. The leaves are small and elongated oval - often fragrant. The flowers are 5-petalled, saucer-shaped, and in shades of pink, red and white, and are attractive to bees and butterflies . Can be grown outdoors in mild Winter areas, as long as it is protected from frost (it will tolerate a light frost, once established), or can be grown in a container. 'Aphrodite' bears bright pink flowers
