Lemon-Scented Tea Tree
Tea Tree is an evergreen shrub or small tree originating in southeastern Australia and New Zealand. The leaves are small and elongated oval - often fragrant. The flowers are saucer-shaped, and in shades of pink, red and white. Can be grown outdoors in mild Winter areas, as long as it is protected from frost (it will tolerate a light frost, once established), or can be grown in a container. 'Lemon Scented Tea Tree' is a medium to tall shrub with aromatic leaves, which have a distinct lemon fragrance. Leaves and stems contain citronella. Masses of single white flowers are produced through summer.
