Summer Snowflake 'Gravetye Giant'

Snowflakes are bulbous plants in the Amaryllis family. They resemble snowdrops, but show apparent differences. Flowers are bell shaped and are white, with green or yellow markings on all petals. They also have strap like foliage. They are much taller than snowdrops and produce clumps very reliably. They will grow in sun or partial shade, although naturally grows on the edges of woodlands. 'Gravetye Giant' is a tall cultivar of the Summer Snowflake, which flowers from mid-late spring. It can grow up to 90cm tall in the ideal conditions.
