Texas Sage 'Green Cloud™'.

Texas Sage, or Texas Barometer Bush, is a drought tolerant evergreen shrub with lavender blooms in the Summer. Commonly known as Texas sage, it is not a true sage. It requires minimal water, is easily shaped into hedges, and blooms over the entire surface. A number of popular cultivars are available. 'Green Cloud™' is semi-evergreeen and fast-growing, with lush green foliage andin Summer bearing rose-pink, showy flowers.

Sow seed in situ in Spring in full or partial sun, in well-draining soil

 

Planting young plants

From Early Spring TO Early Spring

Easily grown in alkaline, gravelly, dry to medium, well-drained soils in full sun. Add dolomitic limestone to acidic soils. Plants thrive in gritty soils with minimal moisture. Sharp drainage is essential.

 

Flowering

From Early Summer TO Mid Autumn

Rain or soil moisture triggers flowering (hence the common name). Flowers appear from early Summer until Autumn
