Original:Cheerful flowers for weeks on sturdy, low growing plants. For the front of a sunny, well drained border, rock garden or ideal in a pot twice the size of pot supplied in New:Lewisias form a dense rosette of mid-green fleshy leaves. The flowers have many petals, and are in a range of colours, on 8" stems. The main requirement to grow these alpine plants is good drainage. 'Safira Coral' is part of the Safira Series and has coral pink-red coloured flowers.

The flowers, which are funnel-shaped, 1.5-2.5cm in width, appear in open sprays on stems about 20 cms. in late Spring to early Summer.
