Tall, flowering perennials up to 60-80 cm. in height. A single, unbranched stem from a bulb with narrow, pointed leaves. Flowers are large and often fragrant, and in a range of colours. Flowers have six petals and prominent stamens. 'Bright Joy' is a dwarf variety which has orange flowers with centres that are a darker orange, and a few red speckles. A suitable variety for growing in pots
