Lily 'Starlight Express' (Oriental)

Tall, flowering perennials up to 60-80 cm. in height. A single, unbranched stem from a bulb with narrow, pointed leaves. Flowers are large and often fragrant, and in a range of colours. Flowers have six petals and prominent stamens. Oriental lilies are tall plants with highly fragrant trumpet-shaped flowers in reds, pinks, whites, and bi-colours. 'Starlight Express' is a compact variety, growing to about 16" tall, and has fuchsia-coloured, slightly recurved petals with white, slightly ruffled edges. It is fragrant.
