A perennial plant which is easy to grow. Upright stems of glossy green leaves support flowers that appear from mid-summer over a long season. Best in part shade in a moist or wet soil. Enrich the soil before planting by adding organic matter. Water frequently in dry weather through the growing season. Cut back old stems in late spring when new leaves are spotted at the base of the plant. 'Fan Salmon' is a branching knee-high plant that's short-lived, quite cold hardy and usually grown as an annual or biennial.
