Malva are hollyhock-like plants which can be annual, biennial or perennial, some species of which are edible.The leaves are alternate and palmately lobed. The flowers have 5 petals and are .5 - 5 cms. in diameter.The double flowers of 'Park Allee' are gentle pink/cream colour, leaves are a dark green. They will self seed, and can die after the first year as they will often kill themselves by over flowering.
