Medicinal or culinary herb with many uses. The crinkly edged and toothed leaves are similar to that of the mint which are in the same family. Can be used for infused for tea, added to fish dishes or in green salads. Melissa officinalis 'Lime' is a semi herbaceous perennial the dies off in cold winter with attractive white summer flowers and a pungent lime scented foliage.
