Produces a low growing display in full sun on beds, borders, dry banks or rockeries. Mesembryanthemum has long-lasting flower heads. Flowers of Mesembryanthemum close the flowers at night to protect them from dews or frosts but open in sunlight. Flowers are single in a wide range of colours from white through shocking pink to orange.
