Monarda - or Bee Balm, or Bergamot - is a tall, upright growing flowering perennial, with flower heads that consist of many tubular flowers that are a magnet for bees. Leaves are mid green and aromatic. 'Bergamo' is a compact, early-blooming, Fleuroselect medal winner, that bears aromatic foliage and pink-purple blooms all summer long that are attractive to butterflies.
