Flowering Season
From Mid Summer TO Late Autumn
The shoo-fly plant has bell-shaped flowers that are most commonly pale blue and white, but there are also forms with violet flowers and with white flowers. The flowers are short-lived, opening for only a few hours each day. Flowers appear from mid summer to late autumn.
Propogation by seed
From Early Spring TO Early Spring
Either sow direct in spring or, for more control, shallowly in modules or small pots, kept moist, under glass in late winter or early spring and grow on until large enough to plant out.
Planting young plants
From Early Spring TO Early Spring
Pot grown seedlings can be planted directly into the growing position in early spring.
