Planting young plants

From Early Spring TO Early Spring

Best when mass planted to provide a wall of summer colour. Needs a moist but well drained soil and should be planted in a sunny position. Stems can be battered and broken by strong wind so will either need supporting with canes when mature or the protection of a wall or fence, but do not deprive them of sunlight. Can also be planted in pots for patio or as a houseplant.
