Itoh Peonies are hybrids between Garden Peonies and Tree Peonies. There are several varieties which are easy to grow and very hardy. 'Bartzella' forms a tall, upright bush with very large flowers which are double to semi-double, with sulphur-yellow petals and a slight fragrance.

Make a hole more than large enough for the plant add plenty of well rotted compost or manure and mix with the soil before planting approximately 2 inches below the surface, water in well.
