Peony Hermione (Herbaceous) in the GardenTags plant encyclopedia

Paeonia lactiflora 'Hermione'

Peony 'Hermione' (Herbaceous)

Very fragrant, produced huge rich apple blossom pink, double flowers with delicately frilled petals. Borne on erect, red mottled stems, Hermione is an excellent garden plant that brings a touch of elegance and heavenly fragrance to any border. These plants form a clump as they get older and flowers that are singles, semi double and multi petalled range from white through to red. Leaves are simple, shiny and mid to dark green in colour. There is also a Japanese tree peony which grows taller.
