Peony 'Lady Orchid' (Herbaceous)

These plants form a clump as they get older and flowers that are singles, semi double and multi petalled range from white through to red. Leaves are simple, shiny and mid to dark green in colour. There is also a Japanese tree peony which grows taller. 'Lady Orchid' is full hardy and enjoys a sunny position. Prefers humus rich soil. Soft, lavender-pink, double blooms. Slight fragrance.

Make a hole more than large enough for the plant add plenty of well rotted compost or manure and mix with the soil before planting approximately 2 inches below the surface, water in well.
