Opium Poppy 'Lilac Pom Pom'
Papaver somniferum is a subtype of opium poppy which grow to about 60 to 90cm tall and has thick, hairy stems and lettuce like leaves. The seed pods are well-suited for crafts and dried floral arrangements. Most annual varieties will readily self-seed. 'Lilac Pom-Pom' has fully double flowers with a frilly petals throughout summer. Great for cottage gardens, blends beautifully with most shades of pink, purple and plum. Will self seed.
