Prunus Laurocerasus 'Otto Luyken'

Prunus laurocerasus, or Cherry Laurel, is an evergreen shrub or small to medium-sized tree, with leathery, shiny, dark green leaves with finely toothed edges, which may have an almond smell when crushed. In Spring flower buds appear which open to fragrant creamy-white flowers with yellow stamens in early Summer, and followed by the fruit, which are small cherries that turn black when they are ripe. 'Otto Luyken' is a spreading shrub to 1m tall, with dense, low growth, and glossy dark green leaves. Flowers small, white and cherry-like fruits starting red and turning glossy black
