Tayberry 'Buckingham'

Tayberry is a fruiting plant that is a cross between a blackberry and a raspberry. The fruit is larger and sweeter than a loganberry (which is also a cross between a blackberry and a raspberry) Tayberries, which are usually perennial, have canes each year on which the fruit is borne from the second year. 'Buckingham' is a cross between a loganberry and a black raspberry, and bears large (up to 2" long) sweet, aromatic fruits, best picked when they have turned from red to purple.

Planting Outdoors Autumn

From Early Spring TO Mid Autumn

Plant new canes in spring or autumn in well prepared beds. Take out a trench, fill with compost to within 3ins from top, set in plants, cover to ground level, and firm. Water thoroughly.
