Original:Distribution : Mexico (Oaxaca); 2600 – 3000 m. Description (according to 't Hart & Bleij in IHSP 2003) : Glabrous perennial glaucous subshrubs, at times trailing from cliffs, with several terete stems to ± 3 mm in diameter, first blue-glaucous, later purplish-red or brownish, ± 30 cm long with lax rosettes. Leaves alternate, obovate-spatulate, rounded to broadly obtuse, faintly apiculate, flattened or slightly subterete, blue-glaucous, 20 – 30 x 11 – 17 mm, shorter but wider on flowering branches, spreading; flowering branches erect to slightly ascending, 30 – 50 cm, with some lateral shoots below, axillary. New:Sedum, or Stonecrop, is a large genus of flowering plant which has fleshy, succulent leaves, fleshy stems, and has clusters of small, starry flowers.
