Sedum Furfuraceum

 

Bonsai Sedum

Sedum furfuraceum (Bonsai Sedum) is a low growing succulent with rugby-ball shaped dark green leaves with white scaly markings, and which grow in spiral rows. Leaves turn to reddish-orange in bright light. Pale pink starry flowers appear in Spring. If the lower leaves are removed, the plant can be made to look like a tree (hence the "bonsai" name).
