Sedum, or Stonecrop, is a large genus of flowering plant which has fleshy, succulent leaves, fleshy stems, and has clusters of small, starry flowers.Sedum lanceolatum is a species of flowering plant in the stonecrop family known by the common names spearleaf stonecrop and lanceleaf stonecrop. It has lance-shaped leaves, and yellow flowers tinged with red or orange on top of stems with alternate leaves.
