Sedum, or Stonecrop, is a large genus of flowering plant which has fleshy, succulent leaves, fleshy stems, and has clusters of small, starry flowers. 'Sunsparkler Blue Elf' is, in fact a hybrid - Sedoro x (Sedum x Orostachys). It is a groundcover type of stonecrop, with dark blue-green foliage, and, in late Summer and Autumn, clusters of red flowers.
