Sedum, or Stonecrop, is a large genus of flowering plant which has fleshy, succulent leaves, fleshy stems, and has clusters of small, starry flowers. 'Desert Black' is clump-forming, with very dark purple succulent leaves, and, in Summer, clusters of pink flowers.
