Flowering Season

From Early Summer TO Mid Autumn

Blooms usually appear in early summer and last for weeks. The pale green spathe turns white as it opens and surrounds the protruding spadix that is densely covered by its tiny, true flowers.

Planting

From Early Spring TO Late Winter

Place pot grown varieties in a brightish place but avoid direct sunlight as this can burn the foliage. If placed into too dark a site they do not bloom as well. They do best at an even temperature all year round.

Propagation by division

From Early Spring TO Mid Autumn

They can be divided when re-potting. This plant likes to be slightly pot-bound. Divide it every 5 years or when necessary.
