It can be invasive. The plant forms a clump. The leaves are oval, around 25 cms. long, and the clusters of flowers in late Spring and Summer are tubular bell-shaped and nodding. White comfrey has clusters of white flowers. It is non-invasive, and multiplies by self-seeding. Grows happily under trees.
