Tagetes erecta 'Moon'
African Marigold 'Moon'
Tagetes (Marigold) plants generally have blooms that are yellow, gold or copper coloured and have daisy-like characteristics. These flowers are also able to bloom all summer long. African Marigolds have large spherical pompom flower heads in shades of yellow or orange above dark green feathery leaves. These tall plants make good background planting for summer flower beads and borders. These plants are very easy to care for. 'Moon' has fully double yellow blooms with a citrus flavour.

Flowering Marigolds
From Late Spring TO Early Autumn
These flowers will bloom in late spring and may carry on into early autumn. Your garden will transform when the brightly coloured flowers bloom.
Planting from Seedlings
From Mid Spring TO Late Spring
You may decide to grow the seeds inside 6 weeks prior to planting them. Once the plant has sprouted to about 2 inches tall then you may transfer them outside. These flowers need lots of sunshine so pick a sunny spot.
