Tiarella is a genus of 7 species of low-growing perennials suitable for rock gardens or ground cover beneath trees and shrubs. They are closely allied to the genus Heuchera, bearing feathery spikes star-shaped flowers. 'Spring symphony' has deeply lobed leaves with a small dark blotch in the centre and spikes of white-pink flowers.
