Tilia are deciduous trees with heart-shaped or oval leaves and clusters of fragrant yellow-green flowers that are followed by winged fruits. Tilia 'Greenspire'- is compact tree that has small, shiny, dark green, heart-shaped leaves that are light green on the underside. In mid Summer it bears clusters of creamy-white fragrant flowers, and in Autumn the foliage turns golden-yellow.
