White Clover 'Isabella'

A herbaceous perennial,Trifolium repens, or white clover, is a low-growing plant, often growing in grass, and which has white round flower-heads of small pea-flower shaped flowers which are sometimes tinged with pink. It flowers from early Summer to Autumn, and is a member of the bean family. It can also be used as green manure. 'Isabella' sports glowing deep maroon-red foliage, each leaflet marked with green at the base, making vigorous spreading patches topped by light-pink flowers in early to mid-summer.

Planting

From Late Autumn TO Early Spring

New plants can be obtained by dividing existing clumps and these can be replanted from late Autumn to Spring in any reasonable garden soil in a sunny position.
