The Lanai™ series are trailing varieties of verbena. They are tender perennials, that can be grown as annuals in cooler regions. From late Spring to Autumn they bear domed heads of blue, pink, purple or red flowers. Lanai™ verbenas are excellent for planters, hanging baskets, and borders, and are attractive to bees and butterflies. 'Lanai™ Rose with Eye'' has magenta-rose flowers with a white eye. It boasts good powdery mildew resistance and makes an attractive, self-cleaning "filler" in hanging baskets.
