Speedwell 'Giles van Hees'
Veronica are a group of plants found in the Plantain family, Plantaginaceae. Veronica plants tend to have paired green leaves, and small flowers usually on spikes or racemes. Specifically, Veronica spicata is a herbaceous perennial which is native from Europe across to Central Siberia and Northern China. It has deciduous lance shaped green leaves, and produces tall spikes of flowers ranging in colour from blues, pinks, purples and whites. 'Giles van Hees' has spikes of deep pink flowers.
