Foamy Bells Brass Lantern in the GardenTags plant encyclopedia

x Heucherella 'Brass Lantern'

Foamy Bells 'Brass Lantern'

x Heucherella is a cross between Heuchera and Tiarella, and shows some characteristics of both parents. It is an evergreen perennial grown primarily for their attractive evergreen foliage but they do produce flowers too. Height of plants can vary depending on the cultivar and they have varying leaf sizes in many different, stunning, colours and shades. If planted in shade, the foliage will be more pronounced than if they are in full sun. 'Brass Lantern' forms a large mound of deeply-lobed, brassy gold and red, maple-shaped leaves. Sprays of small white bell flowers appear on dark stems in late spring.
