x Heucherella is a cross between Heuchera and Tiarella, and shows some characteristics of both parents. It is an evergreen perennial grown primarily for their attractive evergreen foliage but they do produce flowers too. Height of plants can vary depending on the cultivar and they have varying leaf sizes in many different, stunning, colours and shades. If planted in shade, the foliage will be more pronounced than if they are in full sun. 'Pumpkin Spice' bears bronzey red leaves that hold their colour well into early summer.The lobes have mahogany red centres that follow the veins of the leaf. In early Summer dark red stems bear cream flowers. This variety is more heat and humidity tolerant and also has greater vigour than most Heucherellas
