Flowering Season

From Late Spring TO Late Summer

Flowers are like funnels and are in shades of pink to almost violet

Planting

From Early Spring TO Mid Spring

Plant tubers into flowering position in the spring. Can be planted into containers for over wintering in a frost free place. Dig in well rotted garden compost or manure into the planting position before planting in a moist site. When they are grown in pots, Calla Lilies should be kept constantly wet and should be given a weak solution of liquid plant food every 3 weeks while they are showing signs of new growth. Indoors, grow them in a sunny window at a temperature of about 70° F.

Propagation by division spring

From Mid Spring TO Late Spring

Using a fork dig up plant, try to keep the root ball as complete as possible. Split the root ball at the centre with a sharp knife or a spade. Replant the plants to the same depth as the original and keep well watered until established.
