I started out with one little cutting now...The #thorns on this #cactus has played its role in showing its place in the garden in just a yr. Still being a #tenderfoliage it has to be protected in the winter months. #argentina

@mhomewood6 it can be called: jointed cacti, variety of prickly pear, or even been called a tiger paw. But,with my research I've found more of the Jointed Cacti name to be common

This looks a little like Christmas cactus, minus the blooms. Scientific name is Schlumbergera. It may at least be in the family.

It might just be a Christmas Cactus or Schlumbergera bridgesii @Acetaker Chris but its leaves are quite wide ....is it the same one that a piece broke off ? If so with any succulent you would let it callous over a bit then pot it up I think 😆
