Mouse ears😍🤗

#teenytiny

That's really interesting looking!

Very cute #blue

I have its cousin growing wild in my garden. http://noosasnativeplants.com.au/plants/134/commelina-cyanea-(commelina-diffusa) @sue1953 @leisel

@brightcolours I thought the leaves looked like wandering jew

I 've always thought it was a form of wandering jew too.

@sue1953 @leisel It may be... "wandering jew" is a colloquial name used for tons of different plants 🤔

@brightcolours I like it 😀 This one was in my sister's garden... not sure if it's wild or not, but I had to snip off a cutting to bring home with me! 😉

If you keep it in a pot you can control it more easily.

Help me identify this plant

#PlantID

This one is from my sister's garden... Don't worry though, I got a tiny cutting 😉

@aes239 looks like mouse ears, asiatic day lilly

I thought it was one of the little tradescantias @aes239 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tradescantia. Check against this link to compare

It looks like a spider wort

My spider worts are a darker shade of purple but they thrive in shade
Tiny dayflower #cutting that I snipped from my sister's garden while visiting her in Philly on Oct 2nd 😉 finally started growing, hooray!
@aes239 do you use grow lights?
@saco Yes, especially in the winter when we move outdoor plants inside... there are 2 LED full-spectrum which emit a purplish colored light & then several smaller fluorescents around the house 😃
@aes239 nice!! Wicked low power usage too I bet
@saco Yeah, definitely! The LEDs save so much energy 😀 compared to the old HPS/ metal halide type lights, which were the only decent option til recently!
