I have a tiny farmhouse in rural PA w/ lots of fields & forest... I enjoy being surrounded by as many plants as possible, both outdoors & in my home!

Acquired these moon cactus babies from adult plants, but soon learned that they can't survive on their own because they don't produce chlorophyll (also why they become such bright red/ orange/ yellow). That's why they're usually grafted onto another type of (green) cactus to extend their lifespan. So last week I grafted these 2 lil guys onto a green cactus I already had growing 🙂 Idk if it will work, but had to at least TRY it...

@alovealoe They are now! 🙂 I got them as babies from larger plants & as soon as I found out that they can't survive on their own, I grafted them both on to another (green) cactus I had already 🌵
