I have a tiny farmhouse in rural PA w/ lots of fields & forest... I enjoy being surrounded by as many plants as possible, both outdoors & in my home!

Somewhat invasive "common purslane" in the garden, for comparison

@KariSamuel Yeah we have this one growing "wild" in the garden outside & have to watch it closely so it doesn't get out of control!

@KariSamuel Hi my friend, I have a question? Do you know about purslane? I'm trying to get seeds for this plant, wild ones grow in front of my lawn but because I fertilize my grass they aren't edible, I try to pull it out and replanted in pots but they dont survive. I love eating this plant I grew up with it but a small bundle in stores is expensive. I've tried nurseries but they never heard of it.

@mardel - I have purslane growing wild all over in my pots, in my gardens and yard! The seeds are tiny, but I will attempt to collect them for you! Odd that they sell it in grocery stores, but the nurseries don't know what it is!

@KariSamuel Oh thats ok, I'm trying to collect some even if its a small amount. Maybe you can share some with @columbiariver I dont have a lot to share with her at the moment either. I had a good neighbor that shared some clippings with seed pods
